Task description and requirements
Location: Toronto
Expertise:
- Testing ServiceNow modules (ITSM, APM)
- Experience in Data Migration testing
- Proficient in different development methodologies such as Waterfall Mode and Agile development
- Preparation of Test Plans and development, reviewing, and executing Test Cases based on Functional Requirements, Business Requirements, and Use Cases Documents
- Identification of Test Scenarios and Writing Test Cases through application of Test Case Design Techniques
- Extensive work on various Testing types including Integration, System, Functional, Regression, Sanity, Smoke, User-interface (GUI), Database, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), as well as Performance Testing
- Proven ability to work efficiently both independently and in team environments
- Experience in requirement review meetings, analyzing requirements, User Stories (Agile), developing test plans and test cases, Requirement Traceability Matrix, Defect management, Reporting, and tracking
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities:
- Creation of Test Artifacts - Test Plan
- Collaboration with ServiceNow BA/BSA to comprehend project testing requirements and develop test scenarios and test cases
- Review of design documents and performing GAP analysis
- Creation of test data as per the planned test cases
- Management and tracking of test executions, defects using Test Data Management tool
- Participation in Defect triage calls to review and prioritize defects and collaborating as needed with SMEs - BSA, DEV to reproduce or retest defects
- Provision of input for Test Closure reports
