SAP Senior Enterprise Architect

Job Description

Our client is looking for a SAP Senior Enterprise Architect for a 12 month hybrid mandate.

Start date: April 3, 2024

End date: March 31, 2025

Preferred Location Montreal or Winnipeg

Mandatory 3 days in-office presence

Key Education/Certifications

SAP HANA Certified Associate 
SAP Certified OS/DB Migration Specialist 
SAP Certified S4 Conversion Specialist 

The SAP Enterprise Architect must ensure that the software, hardware and technology processes are effective in supporting the members and clients of the business.

Key Responsibilities Include

Working with multi-disciplinary stakeholders, technical and business to architect a safe, reliable and scalable Hybrid-multi cloud SAP Environment 
Collaborating with different technical teams to establish and modify existing and new policies and rules to ensure flow of data between Hybrid SAP and Non-SAP systems per approved strategies 
Translating business needs into Technical solutions with estimated work efforts and timelines 
Architecting and orchestrating the Disaster Recovery plans to accommodate the SAP Hybrid Multi Cloud SAP and Non-SAP environment to ensure business continuity 
Working with the build team and SAP functional teams to migrate legacy systems to cloud and private cloud systems with minimal impact on business and operational support 
Designing and architecting new solutions, upgrades and migrations to existing and new solutions for the SAP ecosystem nd connected applications 
Creating strategies for delivering SAP on AWS and SAP Business Technology Platform 
Assessing skills needed to support client’s SAP Managed Services 
Collaborating across client’s IT organization to plan and deliver innovative SAP products and solutions for their stakeholders 
Managing SAP technology performance metrics 
Reviewing and advising on all aspects of SAP project design and SAP reference architectures 
Creating standards and practices for the use of SAP technology at the client and governing its use across the organization 
Driving thought leadership, innovation and creativity within client’s SAP ecosystem 
Develop business use cases alongside with the client to build out solutions, architecture strategy 
and their SAP cloud transformation journey 
Developing and assessing responses to Request For Proposal (RFPs) and seeing them through to signed SOWs in a multi vendor environment 
Designing SAP solutions in consideration of technology constraints and limitations 
Leading Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) toward business goals 
Contributing to estimates on costs/timelines with project plans 
Developing system, client and refresh strategies for the SAP hybrid multi-cloud ecosystem 
Governing SAP standards, guidelines and procedures are being followed for SAP projects 
Producing architectural documentation along with policy documents, integration maps and landscape diagrams for multiple solutions of both on-premise and cloud environments 
Maintaining SAP Project Solution Documentation (PSD)

Architecting and Planning SAP on AWS cluster environments for high availability 
In-memory architectures and real-time data platforms (SAP HANA) 
SAP System, client and refresh strategies 
hybrid multi-cloud ecosystems with SAP on AWS infrastructure and best practices 
SAP Fiori architecture 
SAP Security Concepts, Identity Management and Single Sign-on configurations across the SAP ecosystem 
SAP HANA 2.0 Database replication and failover configuration and implementation 
SAP Fiori implementation through embedded gateway and SAP Work Zone on SAP BTP 
SAP NetWeaver ABAP and Java stacks using the latest SUM features. SAP Technical Architect & Basis Lead Hands On 
SAP Support Package implementations and upgrades 
SAP Global Accounts, Subaccounts and single versus multi-tenant landscapes 
SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM) landscapes 
Transport Management and Cloud Transport Service 
Service-oriented architecture, SAP Enterprise Services, APIs and SOAP Runtime 
Knowledge of SAP Best Practices 
SAP Basis Administration 
Managing SAP system performance and troubleshooting techniques 
Configuring Instance and default system and client profile parameters 
Performing root cause analysis on technical issues and developing effective resolutions 
Implementing and managing SAP products and services within client’s solution 

Must have Work Authorization for Canada.
