Role Overview:
The Technical Performance & Data Transformation Manager is responsible for ensuring excellence in product performance, cost management, and quality control processes through technical expertise and data-driven decision-making. This role will oversee the development and implementation of digital solutions and key quality control initiatives to support operational excellence, superior quality, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Safety:
- Implement Lafarge Safety Policies and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Conduct Job Hazard Analysis and develop Safety Improvement Plans.
Human Resources:
- Recruit, train, and develop technical staff, fostering excellence and succession planning.
- Manage technical staff activities and provide product performance & process training.
Concrete Product Performance & Optimization:
- Develop and manage annual mix cost and performance optimization strategies.
- Ensure compliance of all products with relevant codes, standards, and specifications.
- Manage QC database and conduct statistical analyses of plant performance.
Contract Review:
- Implement contract review processes and support large project specifications.
Technical Support & Development:
- Develop Quality plans and processes, perform quality audits, and support customer inquiries.
- Identify VAP opportunities and develop product improvement strategies.
Technical Data Transformation & Digital Solutions:
- Develop and implement data strategies to improve overall performance and reduce costs.
- Utilize innovative tools and digital solutions for data analysis and reporting.
Financial Accountability:
- Participate in budget preparation and implement cost-saving initiatives.
Lobby/Representation:
- Represent Lafarge in industry organizations and committees related to Concrete and Data/Digital Solutions.
Relationships With Other Jobs:
- Collaborate with Technical/QC Managers and other functions to define and implement data and digital initiatives.
Qualification Profile:
Education And Work Experience:
- University Degree in Engineering or Data Science with 5 years related experience.
- Experience in construction materials or construction involving Big Data and Digital Solutions is a plus.
Knowledge And Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent people management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills and ability to learn new software.
- Self-motivated with a disciplined approach to work.
