Task description and requirements
- Identify trends and areas ripe for improvement to guide strategic planning and decision-making
- Develop detailed process maps outlining requirements gathering, gap analysis, and training
- Ensure the successful implementation of solutions within set budgets and timelines by identifying risks and crafting/recommending effective mitigation strategies.
- Create training plans focused on the rollout of new or enhanced business processes and solutions
- Identify risks and recommend management strategies
- Collaborate with stakeholders, business partners, and internal/external team members
- Simplify and optimize processes, while aligning with university policies and regulations
- Work to proactively identify issues and escalate promptly when needed
- Bachelors’ Degree in Information Technology,, Project Management, Business Management, or related
- 3-5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role
- Possession of a Business Analyst designation is an asset
- Experience with using Power BI and SQL for data models and report building
- Experience in higher education is a strong asset
- Experience with ServiceNow or Azure DevOps is a strong asset
