The Accounts Payable Clerk will ensure alignment with our business strategic and financial plans. Closely collaborate with other key areas within the business to ensure seamless and comprehensive translation of functional needs and expectations. Manage and process the organization’s bills and invoices and ensuring the smooth financial operations of the business.

 

Essential Job Functions

  • Handling invoices is a core responsibility.
  • Meticulously examines vendor invoices to ensure accuracy.
  • Reviewing all invoices for proper documentation and approval prior to payment.
  • Maintaining all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets, and corporate accounts payable files.
  • Ability to complete a high volume of work within deadlines.
  • Verifying vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
Ability to use enterprise-level financial record-keeping software, spreadsheets, and email applications.

  • Various projects as assigned by manager.
 

Necessary Skills and Experience

  • Attention to detail is essential.
  • Scheduling payments to optimize cash flow.
  • Contribute to accurate financial management and audits.
  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyzes information            skillfully.
  • Manages difficult client situations and responds promptly to vendor needs.
  • Prioritizes and plans work activities and uses time efficiently.
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Have strong experience of vendor reconciliation, and payable cycle.
  • Have intermediate to advanced experience in MS Office applications.
  • Have 1 to 3 years of experience in high volume accounts payable environment.
  • Proficiency with Concur.
