Task description and requirements
About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Business Analyst who will be instrumental in bridging the gap between our IT solutions and business strategies. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Project Managers, Subject Matter Experts, and key stakeholders across various business lines. Your expertise will be crucial in the analysis, documentation, and validation of business requirements. Additionally, you will engage with our Health Application Services Technical Strategists and support teams to drive the procurement solutions, documenting and analyzing the current system states, and spearheading the functional design for migration and data archiving initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed reviews of existing business requirements and assess technical documentation.
- Design and lead facilitation sessions to validate and refine business and IT requirements.
- Develop comprehensive process and solution documentation, including workflows, patient journeys, user guides, and training materials to facilitate smooth technology adoption.
- Perform rigorous analysis of business and technical requirements to guide the planning and execution of technical project streams within the CIS project.
- Foster strong relationships with various business lines and technical teams to ensure alignment of business needs with IT capabilities.
Work Environment:
- This role involves a mix of steady state work and project-based tasks.
- Some after-hours and weekend work may be required, subject to pre-approval.
Languages:
- Proficiency in English is required; French language skills are a significant asset.
What We Need from You:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Healthcare, or related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst in healthcare IT systems, including requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, and business documentation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable Experience:
- Strong facilitation skills and experience in leading workshops.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite.
- Experience in multi-tasking across various project streams.
- Familiarity with healthcare sectors such as Laboratory, Pharmacy, Radiology, etc.
- Bilingualism in English and French is highly desirable.
