Task description and requirements

- Perform the complete payroll cycle for 70 employees, every two weeks.
- Act as a resource person for all payroll-related issues
- Verify, prepare and process all payroll change requests (advances, commissions, bonuses, increases, corrections, entries, etc.).
- Enter hours for each project
- Produce records of employment
- Process and disburse various expense, travel and other payroll invoices
- Support complete year-end processing, T4, Relevé 1, CNESST, taxable benefits, etc.
- Participate in group insurance and pension plan management by correctly indicating deductions/corrections in the payroll system.
- Manage employee files (filing, document tracking, etc.)
- Coordinate all administrative staffing activities (job descriptions, postings, pre-selection of candidates, scheduling interviews, etc.).
- Draft letters, press releases and other documents
- Contribute directly to the development of HR policies and regulations
- Act as a resource person for employees on HR program issues
- Participate in employee onboarding and offboarding
- Manage and update documents in compliance with current legislation
- Participate in various files (evaluation, training, CNESST, salary increases, HR activities, labor relations, etc.).
- Completed post-secondary diploma in a field relevant to the job (administration, HR, accounting) or experience deemed equivalent
- Minimum 1 year in payroll processing
- Minimum 3 years experience in human resources
- Good communication skills
- Experience in a manufacturing company (an asset)
- Experience with payroll software (Nethris, Eployeur D, ADP)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to demonstrate initiative
- Good time and priority management skills
