Task description and requirements
Job Responsibilities
- Represent our company’s products and services (specifically Cybersecurity, Microsoft Azure/M365, Professional Services, Intel/Windows Managed Services, hardware/software), starting with a deep and comprehensive understanding and following with consumer research to identify how our solutions meet the client’s needs.
- To be accountable for the overall sales goals and company objectives through the successful implementation of sales strategies and tactics
- Manage a current book of client business, including a range of industries, company sizes, and a unique solution mix offered by Blair.
- Consistently prospecting to develop new business based on identifying the ideal client profile for Blair Solutions and building an Executive Briefing based on specific industry verticals
- Develop and implement a territory action plan through comprehensive data analysis and adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results in the field.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Follow up on leads, identify appropriate prospects matching the ideal client profile, set appointments, make effective qualifying and prospecting sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all service categories offered (75%)
- Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service, delivery of SLAs and identification of potential new sales opportunities (25%)
- Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to relay objection handling
- Prepare professional, complete, concise and accurate reports, proposals, booking packages, and other documentation as required for executive-level presentations
- Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following a defined selling process with potential buyers
- Coordinate with other members of your sales team to ensure company quotas and standards are being met, performing market research and regular competitor monitoring
- Actively participate in professional development programs (sales training) focused on improving the effectiveness of the salesperson in the sales process and consistently delivering value in client conversations
Key Areas of Focus
- Prospecting and developing net new business
- Engage and close business with new customers/prospects for Blair Cloud Solutions, Cybersecurity, Professional Services and Managed Services
- Foster and grow existing client relationships
Job Requirements
- 5-7 years in sales within a Cybersecurity, MS Cloud, Managed Services, and VAR sales setting
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills and has a high degree of self-discipline and commitments
- Proficiency with sales management software and CRM
- Personal integrity
- Self-motived and team player
- Proven success rate at levels above quotas
- Ability to balance persuasion with professionalism
- Willing to learn new sales strategies and commit to sales coaching
