Role Overview:
Manage construction contracts and claims for a major project at the Saint-Constant Cement Plant. Ensure professional contract management to respect project budgets and defend Lafarge's interests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety: Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety policies.
- Project Management: Oversee contract and claim management, support project teams, and identify risks.
- Contract Management: Execute commercial aspects of contracts, lead negotiations, and set up document management processes.
- Tender and Claims Management: Review tender terms, manage claims, and prepare relevant documentation.
- Legal: Develop negotiation strategies and handle dispute resolutions with Legal.
- Reporting: Prepare monthly reports on costs and claim status.
Qualifications:
- University degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience with owner or contractor companies, with strong exposure to technical, legal, or financial fields.
- Experienced in legal interpretation, heavy and industrial construction projects, and MS Office.
- Bilingual in French and English with strong communication skills.
