Task description and requirements
My customer is searching the market for a IT Architect with knowledge of Postfix and Dovecot. The project is to migrate applications from the current operator to the Open Telekom Cloud. This also requires the migration of a mail server.
The role is 100% Remote.
Job Title: IT Architect
Location: Remote 100%
Duration: 4 Months
Language: German and English
Tasks:
Creating a migration and architecture concept for the migration of the mail server together with the current operator.
Required Skills:
Extensive knowledge of mail platforms based on Postfix in conjunction with Dovecot.
Setup and configuration.
Implementation of antivirus and anti-SPAM.
Configuration of mail flow for Internet inbound / outbound including DKIM and SPF configuration.
Experience with installations > 50,000 mailboxes.
Experience with installations > 30 servers.
Experience with the automation of administration use cases in the mail environment (creating mailboxes, deleting mailboxes, quota, ...)
Experience with the migration of mail platforms on the above-mentioned technology stack.
Experience with the configuration of Linux platforms in the context of mail.
