I am a data science researcher based in Toronto. My MSc focused on Machine Learning implementations for the Internet of Things in the medical field. The main aim of my research has been to give doctors an efficient way of diagnosing patients remotely, and providing guidelines for them in case of emergencies. The pipeline I worked on takes data from patients using IoT devices, transfers it to remote servers through a secure communication system, and exposes useful readings to doctors in the form of dashboard, which can then be read easily and used a basis for fast diagnosis and treatment of patients.
