Personal summary
In my role supporting Public Services and Procurement Canada through IBM, I led validation and testing efforts on PeopleSoft-based payroll systems servicing over 300,000 public servants. My responsibilities included full-cycle payroll testing for bi-weekly, monthly, and year-end pay cycles, validation of system upgrades from PeopleSoft 9.1 to 9.2, and automation of critical pay validation tasks using Selenium in an Eclipse/Java environment. I also collaborated directly with stakeholders and upper management to present test findings, coordinate defect resolution, and ensure quality and compliance across multiple releases. Beyond technical delivery, I developed a regression testing framework and contributed to the establishment of a Center of Excellence for QA best practices, while mentoring junior staff and delivering cross-functional training. My experience with tools such as Rational Team Concert (RTC), Rational Quality Manager (RQM), and GCDOCs has also allowed me to bring structure and consistency to complex projects in highly regulated environments.
