Personal summary
I have been an educator for thirty years. I have taught many subjects in the mainly grades 7-9 range. Coaching and mentoring have been essential to my program so that my students learn both inside and outside the classroom. I am an educator-in-transition as I have recently retired from teaching but feel I still have much to offer to society and wish to keep working. As a high level hockey player (junior, university, professional) I have always been described as a team player possessing excellent leadership qualities. As an educator I have been described as organized yet flexible, a good cummincator, and a leader. Strong analytical skills combined with a curious creativity summarize the many skills I can enthusiastically bring to a new career. Education: College/University in Education
