I am writing to express my strong interest in the support specialist position. I think the versatility of my profile, having worked in a startup, as a freelancer and as a teacher for the past 3 years will bring the technical and human skills that will make the difference. Before I started working in the web industry, my professional experience has consisted in the management of the construction of a primary school in Haiti and in two positions as the person responsible for the Lean production and continuous improvement in manufacturing industries. I entered the web by co-founding an EdTech startup in 2017. I was in charge of everything related to the user experience, interface, and front-end. To earn a living while launching my startup, I also worked as a freelancer, first designing websites and for the past year, developing them using React. I have also been teaching front-end with Ruby on Rails at Le Wagon Montreal for the past year.
