PhD Geophysicist & Data Scientist | Python · Machine Learning · Scientific Analytics 20+ Years Turning Complex Data into Clear Decisions Most data problems aren't just technical — they need someone who actually understands what the data means. That's where I'm different. For over 20 years I worked with some of the most complex, high-dimensional, and noisy datasets you'll find anywhere in science and industry — seismic signals, subsurface models, geophysical surveys, reservoir simulations. Long before "data science" became a job title, I was already designing workflows to pull real meaning out of messy, incomplete data under genuine business pressure. That experience shapes how I think about every project I take on. These days I combine that scientific discipline with modern analytics tools. I have a PhD in Geophysics, a Professional Geoscientist designation (P.Geo.), and a Business Intelligence & Data Analysis certificate from SAIT. I work across Python, SQL, Power BI, and MATLAB — and I've applied machine learning to real problems like microseismic event detection, predictive subsurface modeling, and scientific data interpretation where standard approaches simply don't hold up.
