I'm a mechanical engineering technologist with experience in a variety of manufacturing environments. I have experience ranging from plastic injection mold design and optical components high-precision manufacturing to fabrication/welding shop environments specialized in hydraulique attachments for the construction and mining industries. I have strong surface modeling skills and I'm proficient with CATIA V5 and AutoDESK Inventor. I'm well versed in GD&T and DFM principles coupled with experience designing components for manufacturing using the following techniques: Electroforming, Wire EDM, CNC machining (from 3+1 axis to 7 axis machining), Plasma and WaterJet cutting, Welding/Assembling, Sheet-metal bending and FDM 3D printing. I'm also skilled in retro-engineering techniques including the use of 3D scanners and mesh manipulation (specific experience using Creaforms' VX-Element suite and scanners). Lastly I have basic working knowledge of Python and HTML programming. Education: College/University in Engineering
