With more than eight years of experience in integrated communication, brand and digital marketing, I have developed a strong skill-set to strategize and build high-impact communication for internal & external customers. As a Senior Manager in Digital Marketing at BCW India Group (Burson Cohn & Wolfe, a leading global communications agency and a part of the WPP group), I have consistently increased the brand’s digital presence with creative communications and content strategy. During my stay, I have launched three flagship digital properties to help the company build its organic reach and impressions. The initiatives are podcast for clients, showcase our thought leadership with expertise video series and weekly 15-sec video shots to contribute to trending hashtags and topics. With 360 degrees digital approach, BCW India ranks on the first page in the top five keywords in India, increased its organic search by 23% annually, and improved social media engagement by 30-50% across various channels. At Wizikey (A SaaS PR tool for businesses to discover, identify, and connect with the relevant media journalists & social influencers), I joined as an Assistant Manager and was promoted within six months to Communication Manager due to exemplary results for key clients in the Consumer Internet industry. Moreover, given added responsibility for managing B2B clients. During my tenure, I have crafted communication & PR strategies for 8-10 clients. My key responsibility was to build a communications strategy to meet company objectives and problem statements. Such as comms strategy to enter new regions, funding news, leadership visibility, brand’s name change PR, hiring programs, media visibility and CSR. The tactics were a mix of Digital & Traditional channels. My entrepreneurial mindset pushed me to assist my family and launch an e-commerce brand that has a global appeal. My journey as a co-founder refined various skills such as Business development, product procurement, e-commerce, product videography and listings, online sales, marketing, customer acquisition and after-sale support.
