I obtained a certificate in Events and Marketing in 2012 from the Trebas Institute in Toronto, Canada. From there, I moved to the UK to work at a marketing agency called GIG Retail. During my 3 years at GIG Retail, I had a wide variety of responsibilities which included creating and maintaining the GIG Retail brand through website creation, designing and populating newsletters, managing all social media platforms, writing SEO blog posts, managing a small team to create a retail magazine as well as preparing and presenting proposals and briefs. My duties also included office management, analyzing quantitative and qualitative figures and more. Currently, I utilize my ability to communicate effectively and creatively as an ESL teacher. This remote job has been ideal during the last year as I have travelled through America and Brazil, however, I am ready to continue a career in a role that I am passionate about, which undoubtedly is social media marketing.
