My experience of more than 15 years includes working as Data Scientist/ Data Analyst Freelancer for two years, Digital Products & Channels Manager, IMEA for one of the biggest corporate in hospitality – IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) for four years and as Web Manager for Yas Marina Circuit, Formula 1™ for five years where I have accumulated an extensive commercial and technical skillset. In addition to my BSc in IT, I have completed my Data Science Diploma programme. As Data Scientist/ Data Analyst freelancer, I conduct meetings to understand the business objectives/ requirements to identify the problem in order to identify my approach(es). I then extract data if exist otherwise I web scrape for the web and other sources in addition to simulate data and then perform feature engineering, EDA, analyse, visualize data and extract insights. For Machine Learning part, I do create a baseline with vanilla model, narrow down the algorithms selection based on the insights extracted and tune the best performing one. Once my model is finalised, often I have to deploy it and build Rest API to serve it. The Data Science platform/ technology I use on daily basis are: Python, SQL, MySQL, PyCharm, Sublime, JupyterLab. and the libraries I use are: Pandas, Numpy, SQLAlchemy (and other database connectors), Beautiful Soup, Scikit-learn, NLTK, spaCy, Gensim, TextBlob, Keras, Matplotlib, Folium, Plotly, Dash, Seaborn, Flask (web framework) and others (depend on the project/ exercise) I have also experience using Tableau and Azure Data Studio.
