I am also working towards becoming a Chartered Public Finance Accountant (CPFA) and have completed multiple advanced certifications in areas such as managerial accounting, international financial crimes, and enterprise risk management. Currently, I serve as the Accounting Operations Supervisor at the City of Brooks, where I oversee critical financial functions, including accounts payable, Investments, Insurance, Bank Reconciliations, cash management, and general ledger reconciliations. I take pride in ensuring compliance with financial regulations, evaluating internal controls, and providing strategic financial advice to senior leadership and council members. Previously, I worked with Forestry Innovation Investment (a BC Government Crown Corporation), where I managed subsidiary consolidations, assisted with month-end and year-end closings, and supported internal and external audit processes.
