I am a lifelong learner and have consistently taken courses since graduating from University. Most recently, I obtained certification from Queens University in Designing for Online Learning. Using principles of Universal Design, I create and deliver STEM related learning plans for students in grades K-8, with a focus on the Engineering Design Process, coding and robotics. I coach educators on how to provide STEM opportunities for their students based on the Ontario Curriculum. I have a specialist in Special Education and was a Special Education Resource Teacher for a number of years, supporting and programming for students with diverse learning needs. An advocate for all learners, I have self-published 2 books with Amazon. The first, "What Your Friend With Apraxia Wants You To Know" and the second, "I Can Do Tough Stuff: A Growth Mindset and Mental Wellness Book for Kids". The latter focuses on helping the reader develop a toolbox of strategies in order to build a growth mindset and maintain/improve mental wellness. Education: College/University in Education
