I am a Professional Graphic Designer and Photographer with over 20 years of experience in journalism and media communication. I possess a Diploma in Graphic Design and a Photog-raphy Program Certificate from Langara College in Vancouver, as well as a Bachelor of Agri-food and Environmental Economics from The University of Economic Studies in Bucharest. My professional skills include proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Adobe XD, as well as proficiency in photography, video, lighting, Canva, Sketch, layout, web design, typography, and colour theory. I also have strengths in creative thinking/ideation, research, storytelling, visual composition, and communication. In terms of work experience, I work as a freelance graphic designer and photographer and I have had graphic design and photography roles at RE IT Consulting, Vancouver Fashion Week, Picnic Social, and Studio Nuvo (VCC). I have also worked as a magazine editor at Reader's Di-gest Magazine, the Romanian edition, and as a journalist for Romanian news publishing platforms Republica.ro and Libertatea Romanian Daily Newspaper.
