Personal summary
I have over 15 years experience in customer service. In relation to the position I am applying for - Graphic Design, I have over 10 years experience in the field post graduation. I was first hired by a local small business, Copy Canada, immediately following my work term, as a Graphic Designer/Print Technician. There, I worked directly with the public to place orders for on the spot copying or for larger jobs that required design, setup and print (both small and wide format). After a few months, I was promoted to Supervisor and helped the owners (through Simply Accounting program) do the end of the month accounting. At Cansel, I worked as a Graphic Designer and Print Technician. The job was a lot more technical and fast paced than I had previously worked in, but I enjoyed that challenge. I worked with the public and large companies who placed orders for design and print. I created forms, books, stationary, posters, banners etc. and brought them all from start to finish. I worked with the programs Salesforce and SAP to input job data, create purchase orders and invoices. I completed job data input each day so I could keep our customers files up to date. I am proficient in both Microsoft & Adobe Suites - Especially, but not limited to: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Indesign, Microsoft Excel, HTML, Microsoft Word etc. Education: College/University in Other
