That experience shapes how I think about every project I take on. These days I combine that scientific discipline with modern analytics tools. I have a PhD in Geophysics, a Professional Geoscientist designation (P.Geo.), and a Business Intelligence & Data Analysis certificate from SAIT. I work across Python, SQL, Power BI, and MATLAB — and I've applied machine learning to real problems like microseismic event detection, predictive subsurface modeling, and scientific data interpretation where standard approaches simply don't hold up.
