I’m a graduate of History and International Relations, and after completing my BA, I spend a few years working various administrative roles in the legal industry and government. The skillset that this position requires: superb communication, stewardship, community development and strong research and clerical skills, matches many of those which I gained in former employment and non-profit experiences (please see resume attached) An instance where I was required to demonstrate accomplished leadership and people management, was at the Department of Justice as a Security and Accommodations Assistant. In my role, I was responsible to manage the security clearances, security incident reports and access passes of 500 staff across five building locations. Exemplary attention to detail and maintenance of advanced databases was required. Conflict resolution and a strong capacity to liaise with various stakeholders and management teams was also crucial.
