Personal summary

I am pleased to submit my application for the Software Developer position . I am presently starting my fourth year of study at Concordia University in Electrical Engineering. The position I am applying for would be a great opportunity for me to implement my knowledge and enhance my programming skills. I am currently skilled in C++, I also have knowledge regarding the use of Java, C# and Python. Throughout my experience in my previous employment, I have exercised excellent leadership skills, the ability to work in teams as well as the capability to learn new skills. I am certain that I am the perfect candidate for this position because of my ability to work in teams, master new programming languages and technologies quickly and resolve problems. As mentioned I have extensive skills in the use of C++, as well knowledge of Java and C#. My knowledge of these programming languages has been applied in my Programming Methodology II course. The project for this course consists of developing an object-oriented program of a graph with no directed or undirected cycles. It improved my research skills and prompted me to learn new C++ libraries, such as Map and List. The success of the project even impressed the TAs by going above and beyond their expectations, this resulted in a final grade of 25/20. In employment with Bombardier Aerospace, my roles as a Project Manager – App developer, respectively, helped me to work efficiently under an assigned deadline and tight schedule. This experience bolsters my ability to work in teams and heightens my attention to detail as well as complete specific tasks. Volunteering at Rugby Concordia, People’s Potato, as well as for my church, Saint-Sixte, improved my ability to work and communicate effectively with people from different backgrounds. I believe my background provides the skills you require for this position. What I will add to your team are formidable problem-solving skills, teamwork, and meticulousness.
