Personal summary
I am currently seeking full-time employment. As a Computer Science graduate enrolled in the Professional Experience Program at Wilfrid Laurier University, I have acquired experience building websites and applications, provided statistical data analysis, and pre-processed data for data modeling purposes. During my 16-month co-op work term at Manulife Financial, I had the unique opportunity to work on several projects as a developer, integrator and business systems analyst. My job heavily involved managing data by developing SQL, PowerShell, Python and VBA scripts for daily reports. One of the projects allowed me to build, test and train a machine learning model using Python libraries like NLTK for natural language processing and TensorFlow. The project allowed me to engineer big data using data preprocessing and visualization techniques and helped me amplify my predictive learning skills. I participated in WicHacks 2019, organized by Rochester Institute of Technology, New York, where we worked on a project called MeeLia and lead my team to win the Best Hardware Hack award. I worked on building an NLP module using sentiment analysis and trained a voice assistant application to help and educate survivors of abuse, bullying, and harassment. I have also participated in HackPrinceton 2017, organized by Princeton University, where we worked on a project called VR Veterans. I engineered the UI and scenes using C# scripting and Unity. This project was a Virtual Reality application for android based phones intended to focus on patients (specifically military personnel) suffering from PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) by providing them simulations for Exposure Therapy and Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response (ASMR).
